My First Blog Post

Hello All! My name is GlorpZorp, but my friends call me Glorpy! After doing extensive research of dimension C137 (Earth, as you call it), I have decided to immigrate to America to start my writing career. My home planet, Jawakatawk, looks down upon writers, since it is a society built on technology and athletics. My parents, Glorp and Zorp Katawk, are very supportive of my dreams; they pushed me to leave Jawakatawk so I could become a renowned writer. I miss my parents and my 16 siblings, but I know that if I want to be able to provide for them, I had to leave my home. Being in human form is hard. Two legs? How do you all balance on these wobbly, jointed sticks? It is also difficult fitting in at a new place. Some customs are unknown to me. I saw a building called In-N-Out, so I walked in and then out. I do not see the point of it, though. I also walked into the Barnes and Noble and announced that I was a writer, but no one asked for my autograph, so I assume that I must actually write something first. The nice, wrinkly old woman that was there, however, told me that she read blogs in her free time, in which writers create short blog “posts” on the interweb for public viewing. That is why I have chosen to start a blog. I hope to achieve something that I read about–the “American Dream.”
